Don't Panic / The Ataris @ The Money Rock Hill, SC

On November 15th The Ataris came to town and I filmed an interview with them and their opening band Don't Panic for the film. The show also featured Swift Kicks, Bracing for Impact, and Hawaiian Shirt Day. It was a great show and it was nice to be able to head down to the Money to check them out.

So what's been going on with the project?

Well I've decided to organize the book/documentary into a facebook page and create a blog to document the research so far. Its great because followers and supporters can contribute to the formation. If you have a question to ask or idea you would like too share I welcome your input. Over the past few months I've been a panelist with the Punk Rock Hill forum "Punk Rock, Unemployment and Economic Development" which focused on how Rock Hill can transform into a more D.I.Y. focused local economy. Intense thanks go out to Jason Broadwater forf his organizing of the event and his invitation to be a part of this. Afterward I and got interviews with Grand Champeen from Austin TX and Greg Eliss from Motel Glory which will be in the documentary. Thanks go to Robert Wilder for the camera work.
